water injection

im was using the spearco kit, last summer at 6 psi, actually i saw a 0.5 psi increase when using water, and a 1 psi increase whwn using methanol.
this year i upgraded to 8 psi pulley, seems to be pulling great for now without the water.
but i will reuse the water/methanol injection kit as soon as i break-in my new clutch. any quuestions dont hesitate

The pressure increases you saw were largely due to colder air, which compresses more.

Why did you not install the water kit when you upgraded?

What timing do you run?

right now im at 18 , 19 timing
im not using the water kit because its getting polished at this time
its one of those all show and all go civics

Your running 18 degrees timing with 8psi? How do you manage this without blowing the engine up?

18 degrees, 8 psi, my secret is a solid copper 0.68"mm headgasket wich give me somewhere between 8-4 to 8-6 to 1 compression. the spearco water kit comes complete with a aluminium water tank,pressure switch,motor,hoses and 3 sizes of injectors.
no i am not using not BTM or any J&S safeguard of any sort. i live in CANADA,OTTAWA. water injection is the best thing you could buy for your FI vehicule.

its a d16z6 civic, the head gasket is my secret, solid copper 0.86"mm thick, wich brings the compression to somewhere between 8-4 to 8-6 to 1. i sware the best thing i bought was the water injaection kit it comes complete with water tank,pressure switch,motor,all neccesary hoses..

Are you using a BTM? Were do you live? Cause elavation has great effects on the amount of timing you can run! Is this in a GSR?

Were are you getting your water source from? I am really thinking about getting a WI kit the water source thing is one of the things holding me back right now! The washer fluid bottle is not an option for me!
